My Background
My journey started as a Creative Writing major working for a nonprofit. The work was meaningful but monotonous, repetitive, and tedious. I felt like a robot.
Everything changed when I realized there was no need for me to be the robot. I could build a robot (in code) instead! A robot that could make my life and the lives of my coworkers easier so we could focus on the what matters.
In every professional role since that realization, I’ve proactively identified opportunities to improve process, documentation, developer productivity, and job satisfaction.
